Class clown

Batman was saved by True Faithful Pet Rescue Mission from a hoarding situation along with 6 other dogs (3 of which ended up here with Batman). The first second I saw the post with Batman, I knew he was going to be coming here. What I didn’t know was how to explain to everyone that I said I would stop at 9 dogs but here I was adopting #10, nor did I know that adopting Batman meant adopting 3 of his cronies.

Dogs like Batman are so easily integrated into our family - he is gentle, patient, expressive, cuddly, & has nothing to offer but joy & gratitude. With older dogs that have never been provided even basic veterinary care, there are always risks involved as well as recovery to go through. We are so fortunate that the team who rescued & rehabed Batman at Davies Vet in Venice along with Lisa at TFPRM.

Batman is the first to offer kisses & he does so by popping up like a baby bird out of the nest. If you are lucky, he will wiggle his tiny, toothless little bottom jaw right into your nostril in his uninhibited excitement.

Words could never encapsulate the love we feel for this little man - it is deep, boundless, & forever.
