Tally
Most needs to calm down
Tally Girl joined us from a local farm where she was reeking a little too much havoc. The amount of energy in this dog is borderline unbelievable, but it is matched by sweetness. While she can jump higher than any other dog I have ever met, she is also the absolute quietest & most well-behaved in her crate.
Tally will thrive once we find the best job for her out here on the farm. We are working with her to not roam too far or not be so distracted by scents that she forgets to listen - in time & with practice, we have faith that will come.
This girl is the youngest we have taken in, second to Aluna who I have had since she was about 8 weeks. Tally was a few months old when she arrived at our doorstep, but she knew all the basic things about inside/outside, food manners, toy manners, other dog manners, crates, etc. She continues to amaze us in her patience with the little, old dogs. She has become aware of how her zippy fast movements make the other ones nervous & how if she jumps on the bed without looking first, she might accidentally step on someone.
Tally often smiles when she is on a run with me or has her arms wrapped around Mike’s neck. We know this ball of total sunshine & fire will be with us a long time & look forward to all the ways she will blossom.
